From the beginning we were captivated by the simplicity of his explanations, the participatory nature of his classes and the unmistakable passion of someone who enjoys what he does. Social networks have definitely changed our lives. Without a doubt, they allow us a type of relationship that was unthinkable not long ago, but haven’t they made our ties more superficial?

In my opinion the answer is no. That is, if we think of the word “friend” from the most sentimental and close point of view of course, but if we interpret the “friend” as in other cultures, as the acquaintance, of course the networks not only do not make us more superficial but also make us know things about our “friends” that we would not otherwise know. Yes, Facebook and Twitter seem like the happy world in which we only brag about our trips or anecdotes and congratulate people on their birthdays, but I think it is the necessary reminder that our friends are there and keeps us united and up to date. our respective lives.

From the professional and business spheres, social networks are today a fundamental tool. To what extent is the professional and personal use of social networks compatible?

100% compatible, if used well. From a professional point of view, social networks can make us known and allow us to connect with people, debates and information that are invaluable in the professional field. With work and professionalism you can achieve a professional reputation that until now was unthinkable. And from a personal point of view, you just have to be careful and be sure what information you share and with whom.

And you, as a training professional in this field, do you enjoy social networks on a personal level or does working on it prevent you from doing so?

Yes, of course I enjoy them, I only share my most peculiar and personal photographs and stories with my closed group of friends on different networks. While I share the more professional topics openly from professional profiles.
Yes, an uncomfortable situation arises for me when a client or someone whom I don’t know much professionally asks me for friendship or contact on Facebook or Linkedin, but in the end I am faithful to my criteria and if my personal relationship with them is not what it corresponds, no I accept them and in a couple of weeks I forget

Sometimes people with little knowledge of the digital world attend your courses. Do you remember any shocking or funny questions or doubts that they have asked you?

I think my favorite, and I have many, is that of a recently retired man who attended an introductory course to Facebook and after five hours of training and totally fascinated because he had been able to find old and distant friends from the military, and talk to them live, the class ended, he waited at the end and approached me telling me, “this Facebook thing is wonderful, I am delighted, I have found and met friends that you can’t imagine what a thrill… so… if I wanted to use Facebook again, which will undoubtedly be the case… When can I go to this center and request computer 17?”

Do you visit Saragossa quite frequently for professional reasons. Do you find it an attractive city for business? And as a holiday destination?

I don’t know if my opinion is very objective since I am in love with the city. I find it very attractive for business, managers from very varied and very competent companies attend my courses and it is a very accessible and well-connected city with all the services you may need, so my answer is, of course.
And as a holiday destination, the historic center of Saragossa, the SEO, the banks of the Ebro, the Pilar, the tapas and wines, the Holy Week in Saragossa… should be on anyone’s list of obligatory visits.

What do you find in Saragossa and at the Hotel Sauce that cannot be found anywhere else?

At Hotel Sauce the expression family treatment is taken to the extreme. You have all the comforts and luxuries of a hotel of its category, as well as an excellent location in the middle of my favorite area of Saragossa, the old town, and at the same time you feel at home. You have a great area to be in where there is always someone flipping through a newspaper or immersed in their computer. And there is always someone from the hotel staff with a smile happy to share a chat or recommend any activity in the city from the most typical to the most different.

What is the strangest thing that has happened to you in a hotel?

I once arrived at a hotel at 10:30 p.m. on the eve of a conference I was giving the next morning in the city and realized that I had driven in sneakers (pink glow) the entire way and had left my shoes in house and it was impossible for me to buy new ones. I commented on Twitter from the room and the same housekeeper at the hotel where I was staying asked me for my foot size to check if they had any pair of discreet service shoes to lend me.

What absurd object cannot be missing in your suitcase?

My pillow. I travel with her everywhere!

The world of social networks is changing. What is coming our way? Is there a revolution on the horizon?

I have an acquaintance who runs a rural hotel that I recently asked if it had fallen out of the Q for quality, and he answered “Ana, we pass a quality inspection every day, as a client walks out the door they are already evaluating us on TripAdvisor , booking or a traveler network.” So I think the revolution is clear, I suddenly create a business, whatever it may be, I’m not saying presence, but opinions or criticisms of users on the Internet, it is going to have a very difficult time surviving or growing.
