When we say summer, the first thing that comes to mind are images like the beach, a pool with cool water or scorching heat. And although Saragossa is in principle a little “summer” and inland city, it presents us with a very interesting offer (pun intended) to spend the summer and offer another complement to the cultural and tourist offer of the city.

The Beaches of Saragossa

As the song says “Wow, there is no beach here” But, although it may seem strange, Saragossa does have a beach where you can spend the summer. It is an area of more than 16,500 km2 within the Water Park, next to the EXPO site, which contains a sandy beach with palm trees and a river pool. In addition to this, it has a hammock area, a play area, changing rooms, a cafeteria, a restaurant for eating and a large terrace for sunbathing. So it offers us a more than interesting option in the city to go with the whole family.

A city that looks at the river

Saragossa is the Ebro and the city and new recreation and leisure areas have been structured around it in recent years. In addition to the beaches of the Parque del Agua, El Ebro also has an area traditionally called “La Playa del Angel” where Saragossa residents go to spend the day and sunbathe and, most daringly, take a dip in the river.
