The museum houses a wide variety of collections ranging from prehistory to the present day. Among the areas represented are archaeology, history, painting, sculpture and decorative arts. This allows visitors to explore different eras and artistic styles in one place.
The Saragossa Museum has outstanding archaeological collections, with pieces dating from prehistory to Roman and medieval times. Additionally, its Fine Arts collection includes works ranging from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, representing various artistic movements and artists.
The museum pays tribute to artists and creators from the Aragon region, highlighting their contribution to the art world throughout history. Among these artists are Francisco de Goya, who is one of the most influential painters in Spain and originally from Aragon.
