History

Sabina , our maternal grandmother, migrated from her little village of Guipuzcoa ( Basque Country) to work in a hotel in Zaragoza. Here she met Antonio, that came from Huesca, and in the 50´s they built together one of the most popular hotel business of the city.

Remedios and Miguel, our paternal grandparents, closed their store located in a little village of Burgos and migrated pursuing and looking for new opportunities in Zaragoza for their son and daughters. Here they opened a hardware store and a little wine shop.

Carmen and Luis, our parents, also met in Zaragoza. The experience in the hotel business of our mother acquired over time with my grandmother Sabina and the courage and enterprising spirit of our father that learnt from Remedios and Miguel, touched together and the Sauce adventure started.

Now, here is when we come to the modern Hotel Sauce era.

With this story that continues like when it started one Century ago. The new generations keep growing. But with the same mentality as back to the time when History was written in white and black. Always with initiative, hard work, passion and focusing our attention on serving our guests.
